A few years ago, a young girl decided she wanted to share her writing with a bunch of strangers. When she looked in the mirror, she saw a face that she knew well but her eyes… her eyes told a different story.

They told the story of a girl who was emotionally-bruised, a girl who wasn’t sure she knew – much less liked – herself… All this was hidden beneath a bright wide smile.

This blog has helped that young girl undergo the process of rediscovering herself. It has been one of the key catalysts behind her transformation into a young lady who loves and respect herself.

If you haven’t already noticed, that young girl is me and this blog has been my salvation.

It is now time to pass on that gift. My blog is now open to anyone who has a story to tell (contact me). Together, we will share lessons we have learned about ourselves, life and God; DISCOVERIES BY DESIGN.

I hope that these stories will touch your lives and remind you that every bird, no matter how broken the wing, can one day, soar through the skies.
